The Guardian is reporting that Bayern Munich are considering replacing their manager, Niko Kovac, with Ralf Rangnick, the former RB Leipzig boss. This comes despite a strong start to their Champions League campaign, which included a 7-2 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur. In the Champions League this week, Borussia Dortmund slipped to defeat at Inter Milan, RB Leipzig got the better of Russian side Zenit St Petersburg and Bayern Munich eased to victory over Olympiacos. In this weekend’s Revierderby, Borussia Dortmund and Schalke played out a goalless draw. As of Saturday evening, Bayern lead the Bundesliga by two points, but Borussia Mönchengladbach have the chance to return to the top of the table provided they defeat Frankfurt on Sunday.
