Another Hertha Berlin fixture was in the news this week, as Dynamo Dresden travelled to the German capital. Dresden brought over 30,000 away supporters to the Olympic Stadium, before seeing their side lose 5-4 on penalties in the second-round of the German Cup. In the same round of fixtures, Borussia Dortmund defeated Bundesliga leaders Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-1.
On Saturday afternoon in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich were hammered 5-1 away at Frankfurt whilst RB Leipzig crushed Mainz 8-0.
