Borussia Mönchengladbach head into the international break as Bundesliga leaders.
Third-placed Bayern Munich announced on Saturday that interim boss Hansi Flick will remain in place until ‘at least Christmas’.
Their president, Uli Hoeneß, stepped down this week. His decision to retire marks the end of 49 years of daily involvement with Bayern since he joined as a player in 1970.
English media sources have again linked Manchester City winger Leroy Sane with a return to Germany. Bayern are expected to bid for the 23-year-old when the transfer window reopens in January.
NFL fans wishing to brush up on their German may be interested in Sport1’s feature on the Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback, Lamar Jackson.
