Updated: Mar 30, 2020

Queen Victoria’s German husband, Prince Albert, made remarkable contributions to the UK during his time as prince consort, including the creation of the V&A. In celebration of his conceptual vision for art and design, the museum is curating a display in his honour. It will be open to the public from June so put it in your diary now!

Unsurprisingly, Brexit is once again in the news. This week, in an interview in The Local, the UK Ambassador Sir Sebastian Wood and Alex Dittmann, the German government’s Brexit coordinator announced that the rights of British citizens, such as those guaranteeing freedom of continued residence, would be safeguarded in the case of a no deal Brexit.

The former British boxing champion, Tyson Fury, continues his boxing come-back in June. He is scheduled to the face German heavyweight, Tom Schwarz, who remains unbeaten in his last 24 fights. The clash will take place in Las Vegas, as Fury seeks to return to winning ways following his draw against Deontay Wilder in December.
