Art from Home 3: Artists exhibit from their balconies in Prenzlauer Berg

Innovating at a time where artists have somewhat lost theirraison d’êtrewith the closure of galleries nationwide, two curators have organised for 50 artists based in the Prenzlauer district todisplay works on their balconiesthis Easter weekend.

The scattering of exhibits across the neighbourhood will mean passers-by can leisurely take in the art without worrying about the build-up of crowds, guided by a specially prepared map.

Amongst the participating artists are Venice Biennale veterans Olaf Nicholai and Rosa Barba. Make sure to look out for photos in the German media as artists gear up to display their works today and tomorrow.
